WEBSTER. April 27, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Vie; sons, Reid (Elaine) and Rick (Gale); daughter, Sue Mele (Gary Geldorf); grandchildren, Macey and Jason Doe, Amy (Pete) Novack; Stephanie and Stephen Doe; Rachel (Steve) Schubert, Brian (Sandy) and Brad Mele; 8 great-gandchildren.

(American flag) Norm served as a B25 Pilot during WWII and as a Deputy Monroe County Sheriff for 28 years including service with the Sheriff’s Patrol Boat and Helicopter Patrol. (police symbol) Friends may call Thursday, 4-7 PM at the funeral chapel ( 1031 Ridge Rd. ) where a Funeral Service will be held Friday, 10 AM. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Norm may be directed to the Geriatric Pilots Assoc., PO Box 27 , East Rochester , NY 1445-0027 or Monroe County Sheriff Foundation, 99 Exchange Blvd. , Rochester , NY 14614 . The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Hill Haven Nursing Home for the excellent care, concern and understanding the staff showed to Norm during his stay there.
