Wreck Of The Boeing B-17 "Flying Fortress" At The 91St Bomb Group Base In Bassingbourne, England. - Page 5B-17G serial 44-6618 (coded OR-U) suffered this landing mishap around 17 January 1945. Following repairs, Eddie's crew was the first to fly this "no name" Fort, for their 19 February sortie.
