T/Sgt. Kenneth Cox was the Radio Operator / Gunner in the Myllenbeck Flight Crew. The Myllenbeck crew was one of the original twelve crews in the 392nd Bombardment Squadron. They flew their first missions from the island of Canton in Nov 1943. Among their targets were Jaluit, Mille, and Wotje. In Jan 1944 the squadron moved its base of operations to Apemama, followed in Mar 1944 with a move to Kwajalein. They finished their required 30 missions in May 1944.
