MARSHALL, OREN W. (MARSH)

Oren passed away September 28, 2009 after a six month illness. He was born on a ranch near Hayden, CO in 1921 and attended school in Hayden. He attended Doane College in Nebraska and the University of Colorado in Boulder. Oren served as a pilot in the Navy in Africa (South of Casablanca), New York and Puerto Rico during WWII and in San Diego and the Philippines during the Korean Conflict. He worked 25 years for Ideal Cement Company in Denver and 12 years for the Bureau of Reclamation. Preceded in death by a sister, Louise, an infant son, Steven, and a daughter, Becky. He is survived by his wife, Ann, and son, Mike. Oren was a member of Phillips United Methodist Church. He was an avid golfer, bowler and woodworker. Services will be held at Phillips United Methodist Church, 1450 S. Pierce St., Lakewood, CO at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 5th.
