Benjamin Floyd Walton, Jr., age 77, a native of Houma and resident of Alexandria, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2002. Visitation today at John Kramer & Son Funeral Home in Alexandria, and to service time Wednesday at First United Methodist Church; services Wednesday at the church, with burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Pineville

Mr. Walton is survived by his wife, Nannette Carr Walton of Alexandria; one son, Dr. Ben Walton III of Alexandria; one daughter, Ann Walton of Baton Rouge; three grandchildren; Benji Walton IV, Charles Walton and Mary Walton, all of Alexandria; one brother, Bill Walton of Navarre, Fla.; and two sisters, Floyd Millburn of Baton Rouge and Jane Thompson of Higganum, Conn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Benjamin Walton Sr. and Cecile Garcie Walton; two sisters, Juanita Kyle and Melba Carr; and one brother, P.G. Walton

Mr. Walton was a pharmaceutical representative for Lederle Laboratories for 37 years and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Alexandria; served as Sunday School teacher for the senior high department and administrative board member; charter member of the Alexandria Aquatic and Racquet Club and was a Navy veteran of World War II.
