World War I He fought in World War 1 and was a rifleman. He received accommodations of a silver star for his valiant service and at one time took out a whole battalion. He was in the 348th Machine gun company 91st division n the Argonne.he had many other accomplishments under difficult and extremely hazardous conditions. He had shattered health as a result of his wartime service to his country.
