Joseph S Ewen

oseph S. Ewen was listed first with the Co. D 6th, NJ and was mustered out because of illness. He married Catherine Gutherie at St. Mary's Church in Gloucester City, NJ and had two children, Mary Ann and Edward. He then enlisted with Co. I 2nd Pennsylvania Artillery and was shot at Petersburg, Va. He died August 19, 1864 and is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
