David N. Tate

on of Edward Tate and Lucy Hughes Moody, of Grainger Co., TN. Second husband of Mary Ann Cardwell, whom he married in 1835. He and Mary Ann had six children: Edward M.; Lucy; Mary J.; John R.; David A.; and Victoria Catherine. David N. was appointed administrator of the estate of his father-n-law, Robert Cardwell, who died intestate in 1865.
