Barbi Ennis Connolly, 319th and 321st BG Historian, 57th BW Wing Historical Researcher;

I found a 448th BS R/G picture in the WWII Memorial with 2 brothers (one was ours…which one?) The contributor was Sumner Hudson so I googled him and called…. he said "WAIT! …. "Cookie" (Harold Cookman) Is on the right!" 66 years later and his treasured friend 'lived' in his wallet for 66 years! I placed that also AND LTC Hudson AND THEN, I received a call from their hometown in Clearwater Iowa, a lady received his ~ Short Snorter ~ as change with Cookie's name on top! She took it to the widow of Cookie's brother (who was engaged to marry Cookie, then married Walter) and now I place HIM :)

Roger, I call this "Putting together a puzzle with no picture". Capt. Bugbee (living) one of Ed's pilots, said he would walk slowly around the B-25, hands behind his back and look at every single thing on the ship….. he said he was so nervous that he did the same routine every single time…. … It took guts for even the Pilot to get back in. WE truly have NO idea what they lived through. ON Ed's 90th Birthday he said "Yes Well, (Ed's nephew) Anthony (US AIR, Capt.) might fly up and down like a Yo-Yo but NO ONE was shooting at them!". . . .
