Memorial services for Lt. Robert Lee Ramsaur son of Dr. and Mrs. Ernest Ramsaur of Portuguese bend, who was killed in Korea, will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday at St. Prier’s Episcopal church.

Lt. Ramsaur, 30, was serving with the First Cavalry division in Korea when he was killed in action on July 25. 7950. A veteran of World War II, he was seriously wounded while fighting in the Marshall Islands in 1944. Lt. Ramsaur’s body is being returned from Korea and will be buried in the National cemetery at San Francisco.

The memorial services will he conducted by the Rev. John R. Bill of San Pedro. Lt. Ramsaur’s parents have requested that no flowers be sent to the services but that contributions can he made in their son’s memory to the Military Order of the Purple Heart, San Pedro chapter, at 1334 Twenty-seventh st., San Pedro.

Lt. Ramsaur graduated from Beverly Hills high school and from the University of California at Berkeley, where he was a member of Psi Upsilon fraternity and Skull and Keys. He served as a Marine pilot during World War a.

In addition to his parents, Lt Ramsaur leaves his widow and young daughter, Virginia, of Arcadia; his sister. Mrs. Virginia R Danzy of Portuguese Bend; and his brother, Dr. Ernest Ramsaur jr., who is at present with the Foreign Service of the state department in Germany.
