Agnes Augusta Lundgren was born the 28 th of October 1894 in Älvsbyn, in the province of Norrbotten in northern Sweden. She had two siblings that died very young. The only brother that lived until he was an adult was Frans Aron Lundgren. Their parents were called Leo Lundgren and Elisabet Margareta Johansdotter/Persson. The family moved from Älvsbyn to Heden, a village outside the town of Boden. Agnes father died when she was only six.

Agnes went to the US twice. The first time she stayed for six years (1913-1919), and then went back to Sweden. In 1923 she moved permanently to the US. There she married Oskar William Eriksson, born in Storsandsudden, Överkalix. Oskar was from the same province as Agnes, Norrbotten. Agnes Lundgren/Eriksson was a cousin of my dad´s.
