Added by: mnmaLt. Charles Thomas Jones-was commissioned as a 2nd LT at Ft. Benning and was sworn in by his brother, Stephen, who was a 1Lt in the Navy. Standing tall and facing each other, they tried with some success to maintain their unflinching military face and only bobbled their lines once or twice!

Added by: mnmaThis was taken on 6-1-1971 in Quang Tri by D.Wedin, Tom's M60 gunner. On this day Tom's OCS classmate, 1Lt. Paul Magers, pilot of a Cobra gunship, was shot down near Dong Tri where a team of Army Rangers awaited rescue. The crash was nonsurvivable. On 8-25-2010, Mager's remains came home-buried in MT.
