Dunfermline - Michael E. Harper, 54, of Dunfermline died at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
Born July 22, 1955, in Canton to the late James F Harper and Elouise (Loveland) Harper of Canton, he married Ella E. Fouts on July 17, 1976, in Ipava.
Surviving are his wife; mother; one daughter, Jennifer J. (Kevin) Bankert of Dunfermline; one brother, Steve (Debbie) Harper of Canton; two sisters, Cheryle (Robert) Mathis of St. David and Patricia Harper of Canton; and several nieces and nephews.
Michael was a machine operator for Keystone Steel & Wire Co. in Bartonville, retiring in October 2009. He was previously employed at Freeman United Coal Company and Sutton & Moore Lumber, both of Canton.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a celebration of life Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Dunfermline Village Hall.
