Herman "Woody" Hughes is retired and lives with his wife of 50 years, Sandra, in Lakeport, CA. In 1985 he retired as a CAPTAIN (O6)USN with 26 years service. He is a Professor Emeritus from Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA.
