William Ware was my great great grandfather who was born 1820 on a Jesuit owned plantation located in St Thomas Manor, Charles County, Maryland, USA. He was later sold to a slave owner in Louisiana. Records show that he served in the 92nd Regiment Colored Troop United States Infantry.
