I was born to Everett and Elizabeth (Conway) Wilson. My father died shortly after birth and I've spent all of my adult years trying to learn about who my father actually was and who his relatives are. That's how I got interested in Genealogy. And now it is an obsession of mine. Sadly, I haven't found out too much on my father, but I have learned alot about his family. I have recently learned that I am a direct descendant of Pocahontas, the Indian Princess. Her Indian name was Matoaka Powhatan the daughter of Chief Powhatan. She was my 10th Great Grandmother from my father's mother. And every day I learn more fascinating details about my ancestors.
