About gholmes1936
I became a photographer the last five years of my twenty year Air Force career. During this time I oversaw the Photographic Laboratory at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After my retirement from the Air Force, I was a photographer for Texas Governor Dolph Briscoe’s administration. In January of 1980 I joined the staff of the Jack S. Blanton Museum of Art (formerly the Archer M. Huntington Art Gallery), The University of Texas at Austin. He worked at the art museum until March of 1998, when he retired to pursue his own photography and web design. Some of these images document my travels in the southwestern United States, France, and Italy and reflect his interest in architecural landscapes. Each image has been exposed, computer manipulated, and printed by the artist to create an inkjet print.
