In honor and memory of Terry Hugh C. Goad.

The Pictures and Records section contains a compiling of gathered information and records in honor of Terry Hugh C. Goad, 1 of approximately 140+ Goads that have been compiled that served in the Civil War. The intent was to create a lineage of all the Goads in the Civil War and then establish those battles they may have fought against each other. Five years later it blossomed into 1300+ pages and continues to grow as more information is located. The Memorial Page was a perfect way to share the information gathered with descendants of Terry Hugh C. Goad and to honor that soldier.

Note: Wounded at the Battle of Atlanta through the left side and out the back near or through the left kidney. Hospital at Macon GA for 3-4 months before going home. Paroled around May 1865 at Corinth, MS.
