In honor and memory of Peter Henry Goad.

The Pictures and Records section contains a compiling of gathered information and records in honor of Peter Henry Goad, 1 of approximately 140+ Goads that have been compiled that served in the Civil War. The intent was to create a lineage of all the Goads in the Civil War and then establish those battles they may have fought against each other. Five years later it blossomed into 1300+ pages and continues to grow as more information is located. The Memorial Page was a perfect way to share the information gathered with descendants of Peter Henry Goad and to honor that soldier.

Note: Sources stated he was wounded at Colb's Farm, GA on June 22, 1864 and that his leg was amputated. Currently still trying to locate Civil War documents to officially confirm that his leg was amputated - wounded was confirmed.
