321st Bomb Group, 448th Bomb Squadron, B-25 Combat in the MTO… Lt Martin Biener married his sigh-school sweetleart, Phyllis, who lived to be 91 years old. Martin is himself 91 years old.

BIENER--Phyllis (nee Axelrod), 91, of Roslyn, NY, Great Barrington, MA, Palm Beach, FL. Devoted wife of Martin for 69 years. Wonderful mother of Carol and Stanley Weinstock, Margie, Robert, Sara and RuRu Biener. Treasured Nanny of Jason and Lora Weinstock, Caryn and Matt Leingang, Andrew and Jara Weinstock, Patrea and Marica Honychurch. Proud great-grandmother of Jakob, Sasha, Amelia, Miles and Micah. Sister of Marvin and Buzzy Axelrod, Arlene and the late Jerry Axelrod. Sister in law of Elaine Wolf, Esther and Seymour Birnbaum. Her elegance, courage and strength was matched only by her boundless love and generosity. She was an extraordinary human being and will be in our hearts forever.
