DALE D. VANDENBURGH

Mr. Vandenburgh was born Feb. 1, 1923, in Denver. He died of cancer April 23, 1994. He was 71.

He graduated from Grant High School and attended the University of Portland. He also was a veteran of the U.S. Naval Air Corp.

Mr. Vandenburgh had lived in Lake Oswego since 1940. He worked at Meier & Frank as a shoe buyer; owned Vandenburgh Shoes with his brother and father; and was in sales for Reliable Shoes until he retired in 1984.

Mr. Vandendurgh is survived by his wife Margaret C. of 50 years; daughters, Margaret A. Ross of Rockport, Mass., and Georgia M. Glasow of Eugene; sons, Michael D. and Dale D., both of Lake Oswego; brother, Eldon D. of Welches, Ore.; and nine grandchildren.

Disposition was by cremation.
