Long Description:

Cabinet card portrait of Boston first baseman Dan Brouthers; cigarette card from Old Judge Cigarettes. Photograph had been mounted on board with 5 other individual cabinet card portraits by Goodwin and one 1891 team picture by Conly. In 1887 Brouthers was playing for Detroit. Team identification on uniform has been removed and identification as Boston player added to negative.
